It’s about getting back up when you fall down…

Well, so much for regular posting!

I’m happy to say it has been due to nothing but good reasons. First of all, back in June I was promoted! Go me! I am now consumed with learning everything I can about running a tutoring center. I absolutely love it. The kids crack me up. So many different personalities. I’ve always wanted to teach, and here I feel like I get the best parts of it. Unfortunately, this means that everything else had been put on hold. I’m still learning this idea of life balance. One day….

Also, we are buying our first house! I’m so excited, especially about finally having a room for crafting. Hopefully this will inspire me to really dig in! My husband got me a gift card to the local sewing store for my birthday and I can’t wait to check it out… after we move, of course. So no crafting or reading lately. In fact, I packed up all my books, and it made me a little sad to see the bookshelves empty. (Curious about my book habits? Check out my addiction here.)

In the midst of working and getting ready for the move, I’ve FINALLY decided that I need to add a little more time for me. Better late than never, right? I pulled out the last 3 Harry Potter books from my storage bins and made a goal to read them before I move. I’m finally going to finish the series! I also unrolled the yoga mat that has been collecting dust over the last 4 years. I’m no expert. In fact, I bought it years ago when my apartment complex offered free classes, and I spent most of the classes in the fetal position. I’ve heard that yoga is great for bad backs so it has always been something I’ve been interested in trying but I’m so weak I can’t do the most basic moves for very long. I only stopped because the complex stopped offering it. Our new house is no where near a gym though, but we are right around the corner from a yoga studio So in preparation, I’ve downloaded an app to try it on my own. See if it really is something that I can stick to. My sister-in-law says she will help me out too, so that will be great. Hopefully I learn some moves beyond the fetal position 🙂

Finally, here I am! I really wanted to get back into blogging. So, let the adventures begin! ….or continue?

The one place I never slacked on? Pinterest! I have pinned so many ideas I want to try, I don’t even know where to start! I think I’m okay with that! I tried…

That’s all I’ve got for now. Happy crafting!
